Liberty Women’s Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting women healing from trauma, domestic violence, and addiction. We provide free, trauma-informed psychotherapy, clinically guided support, and community connection for women who have experienced significant adversity.

Your Help Matters

Your support helps provide free, trauma-informed care for women rebuilding their lives.

Why Trauma Support Matters

The Reality Facing Women

When trauma is unaddressed, it can show up as anxiety, depression, PTSD, or substance dependence, affecting health, relationships, parenting, and long-term wellbeing.

Trauma does not fade on its own.

Australian research shows that early, trauma-informed support helps women stabilise, recover, and create safer, more secure environments for their families.

When we support women to heal, we create safer homes and stronger futures for the next generation.

The Facts We Can’t Ignore

Why We Do This Work

01.

Almost 1 in 4 Australian women who needed to see a mental health professional delayed or did not see one because of cost.

02.

When women are supported to heal, children experience safer, more stable home environments.

03.

Breaking the cycle of violence and addiction requires early, trauma-responsive support.

"No woman should be denied the chance to heal because of cost. When women recover, children grow up safer, and cycles of harm can finally be broken." - Stacey Youngs | Founder
